The city will accept applications for 15 board and commission vacancies until 8 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 20.
Applications can be submitted online through the city’s boards and commissions page. The Construction Trades Advisory and Appeals Board has one seat requiring a building background; the Greeley Art Commission has two, one requiring an artist background. The Housing for All Advisory Board has three seats: one requiring a real estate or financing background, one requiring an experienced homelessness background, and one requiring affordable housing experience. The Judicial Review Board has two seats, one requiring a licensed attorney background and one requiring a business background.
The Citizen Budget Advisory Committee and Citizen Transportation Advisory Board each have one seat available. The Greeley Urban Renewal Authority and Museum Board each have two seats available. The Youth Commission has one seat available.
Greeley City Council appointed Manny Puente to the Housing for All Advisory Board, Jeff Carlson to the Planning Commission and Daniel Knopf to the Union Colony Civic Center Advisory Board. Staff will schedule interviews for the week of Nov. 2. Appointments will be made at the Nov. 17 Council meeting.
