County Line Road west sidewalk to close between Moffat and Balcolm, Oct. 5-23
The town says pedestrians should use marked crosswalks to get around the work. Crews are scheduled from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily; no road or lane closures are planned, but drivers should watch for equipment.
The west sidewalk on County Line Road between Moffat and Balcolm streets will close Oct. 5-23. Mears Broadband, a Comcast subcontractor, will bore a new fiber line along the road during that period, the Town of Erie said.
Pedestrians should use the marked crosswalks at Balcolm and Moffat streets to cross County Line Road and travel around the closure, the town said. Work will take place from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily.
No road or lane closures are planned. Drivers should expect equipment near the roadway and use caution in the area, the town said.
