Gallop is offering free bus rides Oct. 1-8 in honor of National Week Without Driving, the City of Greeley said.
The city says the week highlights challenges people face when they do not have access to a car. About 36% of people in the U.S. don’t drive, including older adults, people with disabilities and people who can’t afford a vehicle, the city said. “For many people, driving isn’t an option,” said Michelle Johnson, mobility manager with the City of Greeley. “National Week Without Driving gives everyone a chance to experience a different way of getting around our community.”
