Severance seeks resident for Planning Commission seat by Oct. 16
The town says applicants must be registered electors, at least 18 and residents for a year, and may not hold another town office. The council plans interviews Oct. 27 and an appointment at that meeting.
The Town of Severance said its Town Council is seeking one resident for a volunteer Planning Commission seat whose term expires in June 2027. The town says applications are due Oct. 16 at 4 p.m.
The Town of Severance says residents must be registered electors of the Town, at least 18 years old and have lived in town for at least one year. They may not hold another town office. Applicants should complete the application and submit a letter of interest and resume addressed to the mayor and Town Council through the Town of Severance website.
The Town of Severance says applicants must be available to attend the Oct. 27 Town Council meeting in person for interviews. It says the council will appoint someone to the open seat at that meeting.
The Town of Severance says its Planning Commission advises the municipal governing body on zoning, land use amendments, plans and studies, and land development.
