11 Larimer arts groups awarded Colorado grants of $6,000 to $14,000
The awards provide one year of general operating support for groups that present public arts programming, with amounts tied to each organization’s cash operating income. The statewide program reached recipients in 33 counties.
11 Larimer County arts organizations are among 187 recipients of Colorado Creates grants, with awards ranging from $6,000 to $14,000, the Colorado Office of Economic Development and International Trade (OEDIT) said.
The 2026 Larimer County recipients are Bas Bleu Theatre Company; Front Range Chamber Players; Howdy Neighbor Events; International Keyboard Odyssiad & Festival; KRFC 88.9 FM Radio Fort Collins; Laudamus Chamber Chorale; LuneAseas; Off the Hook Arts; Partnership for Age-Friendly Communities; Thompson Valley Art League; and Wildfire Community Arts Center.
The grants provide general operating support over a one-year period. Award amounts are based on each organization’s cash operating income and range from $6,000 to $14,000. They support arts-focused organizations presenting public programming, for programs, services and activities associated with the National Endowment of the Arts’ strategic plan.
OEDIT said Gov. Jared Polis and Colorado Creative Industries (CCI), a division of OEDIT, announced 187 new recipients. “Arts and culture are an essential part of who we are as Coloradans, driving local economies and inspiring creativity,” Polis said. The grants will support 187 arts organizations across 33 Colorado counties, OEDIT said. The office said 37% of this year’s grantees are based in rural counties, a key focus of the Colorado Creates Grant program.
