Evans cleanup vouchers cost $15 for city trash customers

The City of Evans will offer $15 vouchers for its Fall Community Cleanup to utility customers who pay for trash service through their city utility bill. The event is set for Oct. 3, 2026, at 3323 1st Avenue.
The $15 vouchers may be purchased in advance at the Evans Community Complex customer service windows from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. Vouchers will also be available at the gate on event day. Additional disposal fees apply to passenger vehicle tires.
The city says the event gives Evans residents an opportunity to dispose of large or bulky household items and debris that may be difficult to accommodate through regular weekly trash service. Accepted items include general household waste, yard waste, leaves, furniture, scrap iron and metal, refrigerators and freezers, and passenger vehicle tires. The city also lists computer towers, keyboards, mice, printers and other eligible home electronics, along with tree limbs less than eight inches in diameter and under 10 feet long.
The cleanup cannot accept dirt, rock, concrete, roofing shingles, televisions, computer monitors or displays, air conditioners, construction materials or household hazardous waste. Household hazardous waste includes products labeled “danger,” “warning,” “caution” or “poisonous”; the city says these materials require specialized disposal and should not be brought to the cleanup site.
