The Town of Eaton says it will submit one ballot issue concerning the creation of debt or a financial obligation at the Nov. 3, 2026, election.
The notice is dated Sept. 25. It says it provides financial information under §1-7-908(1) C.R.S.
The Town’s notice lists General Fund ending balances of $4,351,167 in 2022, $4,563,236 in 2023, $4,342,309 in 2024 and $5,038,985 in 2025, with $4,017,844 projected for 2026. It lists Street Fund ending balances of $2,312,814 in 2022, $3,067,377 in 2023, $3,179,483 in 2024 and $1,416,880 in 2025, with $1,370,662 projected for 2026. The notice lists the Town’s emergency reserve as fully funded by cash or investments for 2022 through 2025 and projected to be fully funded in 2026.
