Lane closures planned on Cheesman, Briggs streets Sept. 29-30

Lane closures are expected on Cheesman and Briggs streets Sept. 29-30 for fiber installation, with traffic remaining open in all directions, the town of Erie said.
MasTec will bore and install a new Comcast fiber line along the north side of Cheesman Street, including a crossing of Briggs Street, beginning Tuesday, Sept. 29, the town said. The work is expected to be completed by the end of the day Wednesday, Sept. 30.
The town asks drivers to slow down, follow posted signs and flaggers, and allow extra travel time.
