The City of Loveland says residents can bring old house paint, stains, varnishes and sensitive or confidential papers to its free recycling and shredding event. The event will run from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 26.
The city says the event will be held in the northeast parking lot of The Forge Campus at 815 14th Street SW in Loveland. Attendees will enter from the east side off Barboura Drive. The city invites attendees to bring old cans of house paint, stains and varnishes, along with sensitive or confidential papers for shredding. Its Public Works Solid Waste Division and GreenSheen, a paint recycling company headquartered in Colorado, are leading the event, the city said.
The city directs readers to its Events Calendar for information about accepted items, items to leave at home and limits on how much to bring. Anyone with a home shredder may bring shredded paper to the Recycling Center any time of the year, the city said.
