Section of Erie alley to close for sewer repair Friday

A section of the alley behind 704 Main St. in Erie will close to through traffic Friday, Sept. 25, during an emergency sewer repair, the town of Erie said.
Sewer Tech will perform an emergency sewer service repair in the alley behind 704 Main St. on Friday, Sept. 25, the town said. The work is expected to be completed in one day, according to the alert.
The alert says residents will still be able to reach their homes from the alley. It asks people to use caution in the area and follow all posted signs.
