Utility projects get $690,845 and $701,303

The ordinance provides $690,845 in 2026 supplemental funding to extend the Utilities Customer Information System project through 2026, including subscription fees, project management, training, testing, integration support, change requests and communications. It also provides $701,303 for the Maximo upgrade, Vertex integration, water meters, a mobile solution and project management services; both project appropriations would remain available until completion. The ordinance transfers $1,441,394 to the Utility Customer Service and Administration Fund’s 2026 operating budget for organizational change management and training, including $1,063,892 for change-management services and $377,502 for training City personnel. The ordinance takes effect September 25, 2026, and the funding comes from specified Utilities fund reserves.
