Longer contract for North Mason stormwater

The ordinance authorizes the Purchasing Agent to contract with HDR, Inc., for professional services through completion of the North Mason Stormwater Project, despite the contract lasting longer than five years. The project would extend stormwater infrastructure from the Hickory Regional Detention Pond north of Hickory Street to the Cache la Poudre River along the North Mason Street corridor, supporting area development and redevelopment while protecting and improving the Poudre River watershed. The ordinance takes effect September 25, 2026; HDR’s existing contract is scheduled to expire before the end of 2026, while final design and construction are projected to continue through 2029.
