Garage removed from landmark designation

The ordinance removes references to the garage from the landmark designation at 1006 Laporte Avenue and renames the property the Walker/Geist Property. The house remains designated under Standard 3, Design/Construction, for its Craftsman architecture; City Code Chapter 14, Article IV, remains the standard for reviewing alterations, additions and other changes to buildings and structures on the property. The ordinance takes effect October 16, 2026, and directs the city to record a certified copy in Larimer County’s real estate records within fifteen days of its effective date.
