Carriage house would leave landmark designation

The ordinance would remove the carriage house as a contributing building from the landmark designation for 718 West Mountain Avenue, remove references to Standard 1 for community planning and development, and rename the property the J.M. Morrison Property. The J.M. Morrison House would remain designated under Standard 3 for its Edwardian architecture, and city historic-preservation rules would continue to govern alterations, additions and other changes to buildings and structures on the property.
