$601 easements proposed for sewer work

From the Fort Collins City Council meeting of

The ordinance would authorize easements on two Parks Department parcels for Rightside Investments LLC to abandon an existing cesspool partially located on the North City Parcel and install a new sewer line connecting 425 and 429 N. College Avenue to a new sewer system. The North City Parcel would carry a 1,050-square-foot temporary construction easement, while the South City Parcel would carry a 345-square-foot permanent sewer easement and a 1,681-square-foot temporary easement. Rightside would pay the city $601 for the easements and reimburse Real Estate Services staff time. The permanent easement would remain for sewer-line operation, maintenance, repair and replacement; the temporary easements would end after construction and restoration, no later than one year after their effective date. Construction would require permits, utility locates, fencing and restoration, and would have to stay at least two feet from the paved trail and outside the trail, sidewalk, landscaped areas and railroad easement.
