Dacono plans low-cost pet vaccine clinic for Oct. 10
The clinic will offer rabies and distemper shots, microchipping and free pet licenses. Preregistration is strongly encouraged; dogs must be on non-retractable leashes and cats in carriers, with payment due when services are provided.
The Dacono Police Department and Humane Society of Boulder Valley will hold a low-cost vaccine clinic for dogs and cats from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, Oct. 10, 2026, at the Dacono Police Department, 512 Cherry Ave. Free pet licenses will be available during the event, the city said.
The clinic will offer rabies and distemper vaccinations and microchipping, according to the Humane Society’s preregistration form. The form asks for prior vaccination records to help determine expiration dates.
Preregistration is strongly encouraged. Dogs must arrive on non-retractable leashes, and cats must be in carriers. Payment is due when services are provided, and pet owners are responsible for all charges, according to the form.
The city’s announcement described the event as a partnership between the Police Department and the Humane Society of Boulder Valley.
