Evans to livestream three advisory board meetings
Residents can watch the participating meetings live on the city’s YouTube channel, with recordings available afterward and on each board’s city webpage. The schedule does not include the Zoning Board of Appeals.
The City of Evans will begin livestreaming meetings of three citizen boards and commissions Thursday, Sept. 17, starting with the Water and Sewer Board meeting, the city said. Residents will be able to watch participating meetings live on the city’s YouTube channel and view recordings afterward.
The livestreams will cover the Water and Sewer Board, Planning Commission and Parks & Recreation Advisory Board. The most recent recording will also be embedded on each board’s page on the city website.
The city currently livestreams City Council meetings. Evans’ boards and commissions review proposals and plans in their areas of responsibility and make recommendations to the City Council. The city’s commissions page lists four volunteer boards and commissions, including the Zoning Board of Appeals, which was not included in the livestreaming announcement.
