Greeley man arrested on 56 counts of possessing child sexual abuse material
Windsor police arrested 25-year-old Braden Michael Gilloth of Greeley on Aug. 27 after a cybertip led investigators to digital evidence, charging him with 56 felony counts of possessing child sexual abuse material. He is presumed innocent.
Windsor police arrested Braden Michael Gilloth, 25, of Greeley, on 56 felony counts of possessing child sexual abuse material, the department said. The charges allege violations of Colorado’s sexual exploitation of a child statute, a Class 5 felony.
Police received a cybertip through the Internet Crimes Against Children database on June 15 identifying a Windsor address associated with the possession or downloading of the material. Investigators later determined Gilloth had moved to Greeley before the investigation began. A search warrant at his residence produced additional digital evidence, police said.
Gilloth was taken into custody without incident on Aug. 27. The investigation involved the Greeley Police Department, the Weld County District Attorney’s Office and the Colorado Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force.
The charges are allegations, and Gilloth is presumed innocent unless proven guilty. Windsor police said no additional details would be released at this time.
