Community quilt open house set for Sept. 12 in Eaton
Eaton’s A.J. Eaton Home and Carriage House Museum will host its second annual “Timeless Threads” open house from 10:30 a.m. to noon Sept. 12, featuring community-made quilts, refreshments and a look at the historic 1887-88 residence.
The second annual “Timeless Threads” open house featuring community-made quilts is scheduled from 10:30 a.m. to noon Saturday, Sept. 12, at the A.J. Eaton Home and Carriage House Museum, 207 Elm Ave. in Eaton.
Guests may come and go during the event, according to the Town of Eaton. Light refreshments, including tea breads, coffee and iced tea, will be served on the patio.
The museum occupies the A.J. Eaton residence, a two-story brick home built in 1887-88.
