Fort Collins accepting nominations for 2026 Human Relations Awards
Fort Collins is seeking nominations through Oct. 30 for its 2026 Human Relations Awards, honoring individuals and organizations advancing inclusion, diversity, equity and accessibility. Winners will be recognized Dec. 10 at City Hall.
The City of Fort Collins Human Relations Commission is accepting nominations for its 2026 Human Relations Awards through Friday, Oct. 30. The awards recognize individuals and organizations whose work advances inclusion, diversity, equity and accessibility in Fort Collins and the Growth Management Area.
Nominations are being accepted in four categories: Individual, Organization/Team, Youth and Rising Star. The Youth Award is for people 18 or younger; the Rising Star Award recognizes an individual or organization that began its advocacy work within the past three years.
Nominees do not have to live in Fort Collins, but their work must focus on the city or the Growth Management Area. People and organizations that received an award in the past four years cannot receive a 2026 award in the same category, though they may be nominated in another category.
Recipients will be selected in November and honored at a ceremony scheduled for Dec. 10 at City Hall, 300 Laporte Ave. Nomination forms are available in English and Spanish through the city’s Human Relations Awards webpage.
