Loveland lists Labor Day closures and service changes
Loveland offices, transit, recreation centers and the library will close Monday, Sept. 7, for Labor Day, while emergency services remain available. Trash and recycling pickup will run one day late; golf courses and Winona Outdoor Pool will be open.
Most City of Loveland administrative offices and several public facilities will be closed Monday, Sept. 7, for Labor Day, the city said. The closures include Municipal Court, Utility Billing offices, City of Loveland Transit offices and bus service, Chilson Recreation Center, Chilson Senior Center and Loveland Public Library.
Utility payments can still be made online, by phone at 970-962-2111, or dropped off. Loveland Pulse customers can receive technical support at 970-744-4226. Police and fire services will remain available 24/7; residents should call 911 for emergencies or 970-667-2151 for events that are not an imminent threat to life or safety.
Loveland Museum and Downtown Visitors Center, the Recycling Center and the Rialto box office also will be closed. Those facilities are regularly closed on Mondays, according to the city.
Golf Loveland courses and the East Gateway Visitors Center will be open. Winona Outdoor Pool will be open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Trash and recycling collection will be delayed by one day after the holiday. The city said power or streetlight outages should be reported to 970-633-1043, while water or wastewater emergencies should be reported to 970-962-3456.
