Severance cancels 2026 Severance Days festival
Severance canceled its 2026 Severance Days festival because construction delays at Community Park would prevent the event from being held safely. The town plans a Neighborhood Concert with live music and food vendors Oct. 3 at Overlook Park.
The Town of Severance has canceled the 2026 Severance Days festival and related activities because of ongoing construction and project delays at Community Park, the town said in an Aug. 24 news release.
“The current construction schedule will not allow us to host the festival safely and successfully,” the town said. Severance Days is an annual community tradition, according to the release.
The town plans to hold a Neighborhood Concert on Oct. 3 at Overlook Park instead. The event is expected to include live music and food vendors, the town said.
