Applications open for Visit Estes Park board seat

Applications are being accepted for one volunteer seat on the Visit Estes Park Board of Directors, the Town of Estes Park said in a news release.

The appointment is for a term that begins Jan. 1, 2027, and expires Dec. 31, 2030. According to the town, the board seat is part of the Local Marketing District’s governing board.

Applicants must have lived within Visit Estes Park’s service area for at least one year before appointment and must remain a resident of the service area during the term. The posting also says directors must attend at least eight board meetings each year.

The board meets the third Thursday of every month from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m., with both in-person and virtual attendance options. Interested people must submit a volunteer application, resume and cover letter by 5 p.m. Friday, Sept. 4, 2026.

Applications are available through the town’s volunteer page, and more information about Visit Estes Park is available on the organization’s website, according to the release.
