Loveland transit routes return to full service
The City of Loveland Transit system will restore full-service schedules next week on Route 1, Route 2 and Peak Service Routes 4 and 5, the city announced.
Routes 1 and 2, also known as the red and green lines, will return to 30-minute service on Aug. 17, after running on an hourly schedule this summer. Peak Service routes 4 and 5 will resume on Aug. 20.
According to the city, the routes were reduced this summer because of lower demand and a shortage of available drivers. The city said it is now fully staffed for those routes.
Peak Service routes add an extra bus on Routes 4 and 5 for morning commuters and school students and run from 7 to 10 a.m. on days when Thompson School District schools are in session, according to the city. COLT also said service information is available on its bus map or by calling the transit office.
