Windsor plans Aug. 3 work session on data center code revisions

The Windsor Town Board and Planning Commission will hold a work session Monday, Aug. 3, to discuss possible municipal code language revisions related to data center development if such a project is proposed within town limits.

The meeting is scheduled for 5:30 p.m. at the Windsor Community Recreation Center, 250 N. 11th St. The town said the public may attend, but no public comment will be taken during the session. Comment cards will be available for written feedback.

According to the town, work sessions are informal meetings used to review information, discuss complex topics and gather input from staff and consultants. No formal action or votes are taken at work sessions, and items requiring a decision are brought back to a future regular Town Board meeting, where public comment is allowed.

The town said updating the municipal code is part of keeping it current and providing guidance for residents, businesses and staff. Residents and business owners who cannot attend in person may email [email protected] to leave feedback for town staff and boards.
