New fermentation tanks planned at 500 Linden St.

City permit records show a commercial alteration planned at 500 Linden St. that would add two 310-barrel fermentation vessels on new structural platform stilts beside the existing fermentation cellar.

The filing also calls for replacing the existing concrete slab with a new mildly reinforced structural slab and adding a maintenance catwalk with stair access from the existing roof. The project was approved through a minor amendment process, and the record lists the job value at $225,000.

The permit says there would be no change of use or occupancy.
