Mulberry closures and College-Harmony lane restrictions set for July 6-17

FORT COLLINS, Colo. — East Mulberry Street between South College Avenue and Riverside Avenue will have directional closures beginning Monday, July 6, as the Fort Collins Streets Department repaves the roadway, the city said.

Westbound Mulberry will be closed between Riverside and College from July 6-10, and eastbound Mulberry will be closed between College and Riverside from July 13-17. The city said drivers should follow posted detours and use Prospect Road or Riverside Avenue to avoid delays.

Turn lane closures will also affect the intersection of South College Avenue and Harmony Road beginning July 6, weather permitting, while crews repair concrete. The northbound College turn lane to eastbound Harmony and the eastbound Harmony turn lane to southbound College will both be closed July 6-10.

The city said all other turn lanes at College and Harmony will remain open during the work, with detours posted for trucks. Access to businesses will be maintained.

Typical working hours are Monday through Friday from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Mulberry, or 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at College and Harmony, though work may occur outside those times or on weekends to speed the project.
