Windsor sets holiday facility closures for July 3

Several Town of Windsor facilities will be closed Friday, July 3, in observance of Independence Day, according to a town news release posted July 1.

The closures include Windsor Town Hall, the Windsor Public Services facility, the Windsor Police Department administrative offices, the Community Development Center and the administrative offices at the Community Recreation Center.

Public access to the Community Recreation Center will be open Friday, July 3, but closed Saturday, July 4. Regular hours are set to resume Sunday, July 5. Chimney Park Pool will remain open during its regular business hours throughout the holiday weekend.

Windsor police officers will remain on duty 24 hours a day, seven days a week, the town said. The department can be reached on the non-emergency line at 970-674-6400, and residents should call or text 911 for emergencies.
