Loveland announces July 3 and July 4 holiday closures and schedule changes

The City of Loveland has announced municipal facility and service closures for Friday, July 3, and Saturday, July 4, in observance of Independence Day.

All city administrative offices will be closed both days. Utility Billing offices will also be closed, though utility payments can be dropped off or made online. The city said Loveland Pulse customers can call 970-744-4226 for technical support or log in to their accounts for bill payment and service requests.

Police and fire services will remain available 24/7. The city said residents should call 970-962-2110 and select option 1 to report illegal use of fireworks, call 911 for emergencies, or call dispatch at 970-667-2151 for events that are not an imminent threat to life or safety.

On Friday, July 3, City of Loveland Transit buses will be in service and trash and recycling collection will operate on schedule. Chilson Recreation and Senior Center, Golf Loveland courses, Loveland Public Library, the Recycling Center, Rialto Theater and Winona Outdoor Pool will be open. The Loveland Museum and Downtown Visitor’s Center will be open from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

On Saturday, July 4, Chilson Recreation and Senior Center, Downtown Visitor’s Center, Loveland Museum, Loveland Public Library, the Recycling Center and Rialto Theater will be closed. COLT buses will not run, while Winona Outdoor Pool will be open. East Gateway Visitor’s Center will close at 3 p.m., and Golf Loveland courses will have adjusted hours.
