Loveland utility bills will add card payment service fee June 1
Beginning June 1, 2026, a 2.85% service fee will be added to debit and credit card payments made through Paymentus, the City of Loveland Utility Billing’s third-party payment processor, according to a city news release.
The city said the fee is assessed and collected by Paymentus to cover card processing costs and is not charged or retained by the City of Loveland Utility Billing.
City officials said customers who want to avoid the fee can use two no-fee options: AutoPay through a checking or savings account, or one-time payments by e-check.
The release includes instructions for setting up AutoPay and making an e-check payment through the city’s online account system. Residents with questions can call Utility Billing at 970-962-2111.
