Lane shifts and closures set for Mulberry Street work in Fort Collins

Lane shifts and closures will affect East Mulberry Street between South College Avenue and Riverside Avenue beginning Monday, June 1, weather permitting, as the City of Fort Collins Streets Department repairs concrete.

The city said the traffic changes are the first of two projects to repave the stretch of roadway. The lane shifts and closures are expected to remain in place until concrete repairs are complete in early July.

After that, the second phase of repaving will begin, and the city said additional traffic impacts related to that phase will be announced in July.

According to the city, access to businesses will be maintained during the work. Typical work hours are Monday through Friday from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m., though work may occur outside those times or on weekends to speed the project.

The city is advising drivers to expect changing traffic patterns and use alternate routes when possible.
