Loveland to begin milling and paving Crossroads east of I-25
Loveland public works crews will begin milling and paving work on Crossroads Boulevard east of Interstate 25 starting Tuesday, May 26, the city said.
The work will cover Crossroads from east of the I-25 intersection to County Road 3 near the Walmart Distribution Center. The city said the project is expected to take two to three weeks.
According to the city, the work is intended to address surface issues including cracks and weather-related stressors to improve drivability and safety on the corridor.
Most of the construction will take place during the day, with milling at the Crossroads and Centerra intersection scheduled for nighttime hours. Daytime work hours will be 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., and nighttime work hours will be 9 p.m. to 7 a.m.
Lane closures and lane shifts will be in place for eastbound and westbound traffic, and traffic control personnel will be on site to assist travelers, the city said. Officials asked commuters to use caution and plan accordingly.
