Patchy Blowing Snow in Estes Park Today, But Sunny Stretch Ahead

Monday will bring patchy blowing snow with a high near 32 degrees and dangerous wind chills dropping to -14. West winds of 21 to 25 mph will gust as high as 38 mph, creating hazardous travel conditions. No precipitation is expected to accumulate. Bundle up for the cold and use caution if venturing outside.

Conditions improve significantly after Monday as high pressure dominates the region. Tuesday will be sunny with a high near 38 degrees and calmer winds. Wednesday looks especially pleasant with mostly sunny skies and a high climbing to 45 degrees. Temperatures will continue their warming trend through the weekend, with highs reaching 43 degrees Thursday and Friday, then 47 degrees Saturday and 49 degrees Sunday.

All remaining days through Sunday feature mostly sunny to sunny skies with minimal precipitation chances below 12 percent. West winds will gradually diminish throughout the period. This extended dry stretch will provide excellent opportunities for outdoor recreation and winter activities.
