A weather graphic.

Saturday will bring sunny skies to Greeley with a high near 40 degrees, though gusty north northwest winds between 8 and 26 mph will create wind chills as low as 0. Precipitation chances remain at zero percent today, making it an ideal day for outdoor activities despite the cold wind. Overnight, temperatures will plummet to around 15 degrees under mostly clear skies with lighter winds.

Sunday will warm considerably with mostly sunny conditions and a high near 53 degrees. However, snow chances increase Sunday night, with a 40 percent chance of light snow after 11 p.m. and around one inch of new accumulation possible. Martin Luther King Jr. Day will see continued light snow chances before 11 a.m., with less than a half-inch accumulation expected before conditions turn sunny by afternoon with highs near 39 degrees.

The extended forecast shows an active warming trend mid-week. Tuesday will be notably pleasant with sunny skies and highs near 56 degrees, followed by gradual cooling into the 40s Wednesday and Thursday. Friday may bring a slight snow chance after 5 p.m., with highs around 41 degrees. Overall, expect variable conditions typical of Colorado's January weather pattern.
