Windy Friday in Greeley, But Sunny Skies Return This Weekend

Friday will bring gusty winds and blowing dust to Greeley as a high near 40 degrees develops. Winds will whip from the north-northwest at 21 to 37 mph, with gusts reaching 61 mph between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. Precipitation chances remain minimal at 2%. Conditions will turn colder Friday night, dropping to around 17 degrees with sustained winds of 17 to 26 mph.

The weekend outlook improves significantly. Saturday will be sunny with a high near 40 degrees, though wind chill values could dip to zero. Sunday becomes notably warmer, reaching 54 degrees under sunny skies. Overnight lows will be crisp but manageable, ranging from 16 to 22 degrees.

The warming trend continues early next week. Martin Luther King Jr. Day will see sunny conditions with a high near 43 degrees. Temperatures gradually moderate through mid-week, with highs in the low to mid-50s and mostly sunny to partly cloudy conditions. No significant precipitation is expected through Thursday.
