Aims Community College will host its annual Aims Day luncheon on Jan. 23 to showcase new technology, programs and workforce initiatives for Northern Colorado employers and civic leaders ahead of major expansions planned for 2026.

The luncheon runs 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Greeley Campus Welcome Center, 4901 West 20th Street. Register by Jan. 16 at aims.co/aims-day.

The event offers employers and officials a concentrated look at how Greeley's hometown college is shaping the region's talent pipeline.

Aims offers more than 200 degrees and certificates to over 10,000 students. The college connects local employers with customized training, internships and hiring support through its Employer & Community Engagement and Corporate Solutions divisions, underscoring why its program choices matter for the region's labor pool.

Three major workforce initiatives debut in 2026. An Aircraft Maintenance Training Center with an Airframe & Powerplant associate degree launches January 2026, paired with a Frontier Airlines hiring pathway. The Aims Workforce Innovation Center opens fall 2026.

Aims President Leah L. Bornstein framed the event as key to the region's future. "This event is an opportunity to share our progress with our very supportive community. Our partnerships are the backbone of Aims' impact in Northern Colorado," Bornstein said.

Aims' existing programs span aviation, healthcare, construction, firefighting, law enforcement and early childhood education. Students in many programs can access state funding through Career Advance Colorado and Care Forward Colorado.

The luncheon will feature interactive displays of new aviation and healthcare training technology.
