Larimer and Weld food inspections bring four re-inspections and seven passes with critical violations for June 15–21, 2026
Larimer and Weld county health inspectors score each retail food inspection by total violation points: 0–49 passes, 50–109 requires a re-inspection, and 110 or more results in a closure. Critical (priority) violations are those most likely to cause foodborne illness. The following is drawn from the county health departments' public inspection records.
This week’s retail food inspections in Larimer and Weld counties produced four establishments that need re-inspection and seven that passed while still having one or more critical violations, according to the Larimer County and Weld County health departments.
Failed inspections
MT ASIAN ONE, Loveland (Larimer County) — inspected June 17, scored 70 (re-inspection required) according to the Larimer County health department. Inspectors noted food held at 48°F to 73°F instead of being kept cold, an employee handling raw chicken and utensils with gloves without washing hands, opened milk and cooked duck missing date marks, sushi rice and noodles under time control not properly labeled or discarded on time, raw tilapia and tuna thawed in sealed vacuum packaging, and food contact with the three-compartment sink used for rinsing rice paper.
YOLO Pizza Cafe, Loveland (Larimer County) — inspected June 15, scored 85 (re-inspection required) according to the Larimer County health department. Inspectors noted a box of cucumbers and green bell peppers with visible mold growth, a package of alfredo cheese sauce visibly soiled with a mold-like substance and dirt, missing date marks on open containers of pre-cooked meats, spinach artichoke dip dated 5/26 kept past the 7-day limit, commercially packaged sliced turkey past its best-by date, and a sanitizer bucket of quaternary ammonia over 500 ppm.
MCDONALD'S #26595, Frederick (Weld County) — inspected June 17, scored 55 (re-inspection required) according to the Weld County health department. Inspectors noted an employee handling food without washing after touching glasses and clothes, raw hamburger stored above cooked patties, tongs for ready-to-eat food dropped on the floor and not properly sanitized, and cooked hamburger and chicken patties cooling too slowly at 102°F to 97°F.
EL DAVID'S, Eaton (Weld County) — inspected June 17, scored 52 (re-inspection required) according to the Weld County health department. Inspectors noted pancake batter with raw eggs stored above deli ham and tortillas, diced breakfast potatoes held at 120-130°F on the grill, and shredded and sliced cheese held at 45°F in drawers under the grill.
Passed with critical violations
BEN DELATOUR - CAMP JEFFREY (MAIN), Red Feather Lakes (Larimer County) — inspected June 16, scored 45 (pass) according to the Larimer County health department. Inspectors noted handwashing sinks blocked with dishes, paper towels missing at handwashing sinks, significant dents on canned goods seams, dish machine sanitizer below 50 ppm chlorine, quaternary sanitizer over 400 ppm at the warewashing sink, sausage links held at 118°F in hot holding, quaternary sanitizer spray bottle over 400 ppm, and rodent droppings in the dry storage room.
SABOR A MI TIERRA, Evans (Weld County) — inspected June 17, scored 42 (pass) according to the Weld County health department. Inspectors noted raw chicken stored above raw beef in the walk-in cooler, cooked beans and rice held on the steam table at 128–130°F, and a hose attached below the flood rim on the mop sink spigot.
ROUTE 85 GRILL, Eaton (Weld County) — inspected June 17, scored 42 (pass) according to the Weld County health department. Inspectors noted made-in-house ranch held at 48°F in a beverage cooler, ready-to-eat deli ham and cooked rice kept past the discard date with other temperature-controlled foods missing date marks, and no sanitizer test strips on site.
WINDSOR MILL TAVERN, Windsor (Weld County) — inspected June 17, scored 45 (pass) according to the Weld County health department. Inspectors noted an employee handled food after touching face and glasses without washing hands, an employee handled raw fish and chicken and then customer food without washing hands, raw bacon stored above cooked foods and raw eggs over ready-to-eat items, raw bison, chicken, and shrimp stored above eggs and egg cartons, cooked beef tips and artichoke dip held at 120-126°F in hot holding, and cooked chili and veal demi sauce held at 91-131°F in hot holding.
POLLO YUKA LLC, Weld County (Weld County) — inspected June 17, scored 45 (pass) according to the Weld County health department. Inspectors noted cooked rice, onions and peppers, and ribs held below hot-holding temperature, and cooked pasta and opened mozzarella cheese missing required date marks.
WOOD'S SUPERMARKET, Johnstown (Weld County) — inspected June 16, scored 45 (pass) according to the Weld County health department. Inspectors noted raw fish stored above cooked ribs, a dishwasher not reaching sanitizing temperature, a deli knife stored dirty on a clean rack, mozzarella and meat toppings held at 42-48°F in a pizza cooler, and quaternary sanitizer too strong in the bakery sink.
65TH AVENUE WING SHACK, Greeley (Weld County) — inspected June 16, scored 42 (pass) according to the Weld County health department. Inspectors noted no detectable sanitizer in dishwasher rinse water, TCS foods such as lettuce, chicken, cheese, ranch, and sour cream held at 43-48°F in a cooler, and discarded TCS foods held overnight from the warm cooler.
