Loveland survey invitations to arrive in mailboxes this week
The City of Loveland is sending out invitations this week for its biennial National Community Survey, which asks residents to weigh in on quality-of-life issues and helps city staff prioritize services, according to a city news release.
The city said 4,000 randomly selected households will receive mailed instructions beginning June 2. Those selected can respond by scanning a QR code on the postcard or by returning a paper survey with a prepaid envelope. The survey will also be available online starting July 6 and in printed form at the City Clerk's Office and Utility Billing Office at the Civic Center Municipal Building, the Loveland Public Library and the Chilson Recreation Center.
The survey is open to residents from July 6 through July 27. The mailed version and the open-participation version are identical and available in English and Spanish. City officials said respondents will be asked to provide an email address and zip code when taking the survey online to help ensure each person responds only once and to confirm city residency, while responses remain confidential.
According to the city, survey results will be compiled and shared publicly this fall. The city has used The National Community Survey through the National Research Center/Polco as its community survey option, allowing local results to be compared with national data. Questions can be directed to the city’s Communication and Engagement Department.
