Loveland transit to reduce summer service on Routes 1 and 2
The City of Loveland Transit will reduce the summer schedule for Routes 1 and 2 starting June 1, according to a city news release.
Buses on Route 1, the red line, and Route 2, the green line, will run once an hour instead of every 30 minutes. The city said the change is due to a shortage of available drivers and that it is hiring and training new staff.
The Loveland Intercity Connector, or LINC, will continue connecting to Routes 1 and 2, and buses will hold for transfers. The city said normal schedules for Peak service as well as Routes 1 and 2 will resume before schools start in late summer.
The city said summer hours for COLT Peak service began May 26 and that those buses are also running on an hourly schedule. Updated route information is available through the COLT bus map or by calling the COLT office.
